TenantClaim operates TenantClaim.org as a US civic utility. This policy explains what limited information we process, how advertising cookies work, and the rights California residents have under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).
Information we process
Calculator inputs such as move-out dates, deposit amounts, and deduction details are processed in your browser. TenantClaim does not transmit those rental details to our servers, does not store them in a user account, and does not sell them to data brokers, advertisers, or other third parties.
We do not sell personal information
TenantClaim does not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA. We do not share calculator inputs, demand-letter contents, or contact details for cross-context behavioral advertising. If a future product requires an account, we will update this policy before collecting that data.
Cookies and advertising networks
TenantClaim may display advertisements through Google AdSense, Mediavine, or similar IAB-compliant networks. Those partners can set cookies, pixels, or local storage to measure impressions, limit frequency, and personalize ads. Advertising partners act as independent controllers for the identifiers they collect. You can limit interest-based advertising through your browser settings, the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out, and Google Ads settings.
CCPA/CPRA Consumer Rights
California residents may request to know, delete, or correct personal information we hold, and may opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. Because we do not collect calculator inputs and do not sell personal data, most requests will result in a notice that no consumer profile exists. You will not receive a different price or quality of service for exercising these rights.
